Winter/Spring Bird Walks

Join us for guided bird-watching walks at Patagonia-Sonoita Creek Preserve on select Saturday mornings. Learn about the resident and migrating birds, ranging from gray hawks to vermilion flycatchers to thick-billed kingbirds, as well as the environmental history of the region surrounding the preserve.

Volunteer at Patagonia-Sonoita Creek Preserve

Become an RV site host and live on site at one of the preserve’s two RV pads. Assignments will include opening and closing the preserve, staffing the visitor center, fee collection, visitor orientation, filling feeders, and trail and garden maintenance.
