Title VI Notice of Nondiscrimination

Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (“Title VI”) prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color or national origin in federally funded programs. At The Nature Conservancy (“TNC”), we recognize and are committed to ensuring that no person is excluded or denied from admission or access to TNC properties, programs, activities or services, or employment, on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, language barriers or disabilities as protected by nondiscrimination laws such as Title VI and our Code of Conduct. We also strive to provide reasonable language assistance services to persons with limited English language proficiency to enable them to access our services across the United States.

Any person or group of persons who believe that discrimination has occurred by TNC on the basis of race, color, national origin or any of the protected categories may file a complaint with TNC using the TNC Ethics & Compliance Helpline at nature.org/tnchelpline or by calling 833-426-1404 (available in over 50 languages and with the ability to file anonymously). In addition to filing a complaint with TNC, a person or persons who has a discrimination complaint may file with the relevant State agency with oversight for Civil Rights where the alleged discrimination occurred.
