Melissa works across the Impact, Finance and Markets division within The Nature Conservancy to oversee all capital raising efforts. She is responsible for working with product leads and colleagues across The Nature Conservancy to source the capital for NatureVest’s conservation impact investment products, as well as raising philanthropic capital to support the division’s operations. She has extensive experience in nature-based solutions, corporate sustainability efforts, and structuring investable products.

Previously, Melissa led investment fundraising efforts for the NatureVest team, where she successfully raised more than $130M of investment capital for the Cumberland Forest Project among other deals. Earlier in her career, Melissa worked as a member of TNC’s development teams in Pennsylvania and New York, where she successfully stewarded major donors in support of TNC’s global work. Prior to TNC, she worked at Schultz & Williams, a consulting firm that specializes in nonprofits.

Melissa currently lives in Pittsburgh with her husband and son, where she tries to spend as much time outdoors as possible.
