Liz Munn

Liz Munn is the Director of the Resilient Public Lands Strategy for the Nevada Chapter of The Nature Conservancy. In more than six years with TNC, she has managed several complex projects, including TNC’s engagement with Barrick/Nevada Gold Mines as a science advisor to the Bank Enabling Agreement, a sage-grouse mitigation project. In addition, Liz facilitates the Winecup Gamble Ranch’s Outcome-Based Grazing Collaborative Management Group, which is seeking innovative approaches to advance public lands grazing management for the benefit of people and nature. Prior to her work at TNC, Liz spent five years as an outdoor educator working for Naturalists at Large, including several seasons as the Catalina Island Manager. She received a B.A. from Whitman College and a M.S. from the University of Michigan School of Natural Resources and the Environment where she studied community-based resource management planning.
