Britt has spent nearly 30 years in non-profit philanthropy, beginning her career in higher education at American University and George Mason University. She subsequently combined personal and professional passions, working on the first-ever campaign at the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Britt then spent 10 years providing counsel to non-profit organizations across the country in a variety of areas, including education, arts and culture, healthcare, historic preservation, animal welfare and conservation.
