Ben Postlethwait

Ben Postlethwait became the Kansas state director in the spring of 2023. He leads a statewide team of conservation experts and support staff focused on large-scale, lasting land, water, and biodiversity conservation in the Sunflower State. He brings two decades of experience in the electric utility industry and a background in biology to his role at The Nature Conservancy.

Ben is an avid cyclist, trail runner, scuba diver and paddler, and he also enjoys rock climbing. He and his family enjoy spending a lazy day on the river or riding their bikes through the Flint Hills together.
