Join us in making a difference in Maine

Interested in helping preserve nature in your community? Want to meet new people, learn new skills, and get outside while protecting Maine’s natural areas? We can use your help at The Nature Conservancy!

Outdoor Opportunities

If you’re looking to volunteer, get outside and get your hands dirty, we hold several volunteer workdays throughout the year, and all around Maine, focused on trail building and maintenance, restoration, invasive species removal, and other activities that care for our preserves. Fill out a volunteer interest form to receive alerts to volunteer workdays.

Office and Skill-based Opportunities

If you love the idea of contributing to conservation, but aren’t interested in working in the field, we sometimes need help around our Brunswick office with data entry, mailings, copying, filing, and other administrative activities. We welcome all skill levels and would love to hear about any relevant special training or skills you bring.

Fill out a volunteer interest form and we’ll contact you when opportunities arise!
