Biography

Rene Wendell is a Land Steward for The Nature Conservancy in Western Massachusetts. He manages over 8,400 acres of TNC fee owned land and conservation restrictions.

In his role, he manages invasive species, monitors rare species populations, conducts trail work and monitors properties. Rene works with partner organizations, volunteers, hunters and neighbors in almost all aspects of his work. In his free time he is an avid bird watcher.
