Biography
Britt Moses joined The Nature Conservancy in Tennessee in 2016 as director of philanthropy. Britt leads the fundraising and communications programs for Tennessee, overseeing a team that builds long-term, meaningful relationships with donors and partners and stewards those relationships and investments.
Britt has spent nearly 30 years in non-profit philanthropy, beginning her career in higher education at American University and George Mason University. She subsequently combined personal and professional passions, working on the first-ever campaign at the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Britt then spent 10 years providing counsel to non-profit organizations across the country in a variety of areas, including education, arts and culture, healthcare, historic preservation, animal welfare and conservation.
As a native of Nashville, she earned a bachelor of science degree in marketing from Western Kentucky University and a master of science degree in international economics from the University of Kentucky. Britt also holds a fundraising specialist certificate from The George Washington University.
